A growing organization is looking for a Cost/Plant Accountant to complete their team. They are looking for that “one of a kind" candidate that will, not only, be able to take on the responsibilities of this position now, but also, grow with their team in the future. This is a newly created role.
This candidate will be someone who is degreed in accounting, 2+ years of experience in cost/manufacturing accounting roles, good systems and inventory experience. Effective communication skills and enjoys working with a variety of professionals.
What You’ll Be Engaged In:
- Cost accounting and analysis
- Manufacturing accounting
- Variance analysis
- Assist with inventory management
- Assist with budgeting process
What You Offer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field
- 2+ years of experience in cost/manufacturing accounting roles
- Manufacturing or similar industry experience is mandatory
- Experience with cost and day to day technical accounting
- Good personality with effective communication skills
- Strong systems skills – ERP/MRP
