Leadership Role with Dynamic, Well-Respected Company!!

A well-respected company in St. Louis is searching for an Accounting Manager/Controller to assist in leading their organization. This position reports to their President and is the highest-level accounting/finance leader in the company. They plan for this professional to come on board and complement their leadership team.

For this opportunity, a Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance or similar field is highly preferred, 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance to similar roles and enjoy working with small to mid-market companies. Experience with the construction industry is highly preferred, job costing/WIP. Candidates will need to enjoy being a hands-on leader, be pro-active in their approach, professional and an effective communicator.

You Offer:
  • Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance or similar field is highly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance to similar roles
  • Experience in similar roles and enjoy working in small to mid-market companies
  • Enjoys hands-on leadership roles
  • Experience to include accounting, finance, analysis, reporting, budgeting
  • Experience with or in the construction industry is highly preferred (manufacturing industry may also work for the right professional)
  • Must enjoy serving in a role that collaborates with a variety of professionals
  • Effective and positive team leader
  • Effective communication skills and strong attention to detail
You Will Be Engaged In:
  • Oversight and engaged in all accounting/finance processes and functions
  • Month/year-end close process
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Job costing and WIP
  • Tax and audit planning
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • 401k administration
