A very dynamic and growth-oriented telecommunications company is searching for a Controller to join their team and partner with the CEO/President. They plan for this professional to come on board and complement their team. This is a unique opportunity combining hands-on and strategic duties that will allow the right leader to make an immediate impact on the organization.

For this opportunity, candidates will need to be degreed in accounting/finance, have 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles, a CPA and/or public accounting experience is a plus. Must enjoy and be effective in a role that combines being hands-on and strategic. Candidates will need to be pro-active, technically sound, effective in creating value and be a positive communicator and leader.

This is a Temp-To-Perm Opportunity, and you must be available to work Mountain/Pacific Time Zones.

You Will Be Engaged In:

  • Partner with CEO/President 
  • Responsible for all accounting/finance processes
  • Month-end, budgeting/forecasting, cash management, audits 
  • Value creation - identifying inefficiencies and resolving them
  • Sales tax
  • Financial reporting and compliance
  • Supervision of staff

You Offer:
  • Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
  • Masters/MBA/CPA are a plus, but not mandatory
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance roles 
  • Experience as a Controller, Director or similar role
  • Experience to include accounting, finance, audits 
  • Process improvement focused is a plus
  • Mid-size company experience
  • Must enjoy being in a role that combines hands-on and strategic
  • Public accounting industry experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Positive, and effective, team leader
